Used this a few times now for trim work. Required a bit of time to set-up the saw for proper angles. Not perfect by any means from the factory. Good power, lightweight and the laser is useful. Take some time to understand what part of the blade the laser is indicating. In my case cutting on laser line indicated right edge of blade, therefore you need to compensate for that if cutting to left edge of blade. Haven’t set it up for centre. Also bought a finer tooth blade for the trim work. Blade that comes with saw is adequate for things other than trim.
Good simple, basic saw. Quality is there for the price paid. I am a homeowner who will use this saw for 2 or 3 projects a year. I believe this product will be quite sufficient for my needs. Cut a few pieces of 3 X 3 mahogany I had around as a test and there was no issue with power.

Blade not getting up to speed

Bought this about a month ago, worked great the first day. Since then the blade is not getting up to speed and stops midcut. I have to back off, and then get it up to speed before cutting again. Must do a few times to cut the board once.

Tried to change the blade before i used the saw. The original blade was secured too tight. Completely stripped the blade bolt and now unable to change ghe blade. Sending saw back

I bought this for small projects around the house, cuts up to 6 inch wide boards with ease, love the laser guide makes every cut easy and precise, I’m just an amateur carpenter but this saw works well and is easy for anyone to use, would recommend it to anyone
