Hitachi C7ST 15-Amp 7-1/4-Inch Circular Saw
The Hitachi C7ST 15-Amp 7-1/4-Inch Circular Saw provides the stability and power any professional or handyman needs from their tool to get the job done correctly and efficiently. The powerful 15-amp motor will produce a no-load speed of 6,000-RPM and rip through tile, marble, granite, concrete, brick and other similar materials. Made of steel and aluminum, the one-piece base offers easy to read front and side scales for accurate measurements. The 7-1/4-Inch, 24-tooth, carbide-tipped blade powers through tough cuts with ease and has a 1-7/8-Inch depth of cut at 45-Degree and a 2-7/16-Inch depth of cut at 90-Degree. The C7ST Circular Saw is capable of not only making accurate 90-Degree cuts, but it can also make clean bevels from 0-45-Degree in just about any common framing material. A blade guard protects your hands during angled cuts, and the low center of gravity keeps the saw close to the work piece for more accurate cuts. Other features include a integrated dust blower for a clear line of sight, a dust chute to expel dust, chips and debris, soft grip handle for reduced vibration and increased comfort and a single handed bevel adjustment and depth of cut lever. The C7ST weighs only 9.5-Pound and designed for superior maneuverability. This saw includes a 24-tooth TCT saw blade, box wrench and carrying case. The Hitachi C7ST 15-Amp 7-1/4-Inch Circular Saw comes with a 5-year warranty. Hitachi Power Tools (Hitachi Koki USA, Ltd.) provides professional-grade power tools and pioneered innovative technologies that have improved the quality of craftsmanship worldwide.

So easy 2 operate !!
Review for Hitachi C7ST by tbbronson on 2016-12-12T02:43:27

I like this new Hitachi Saw because it’s so easy 2 operate !! My old arthritic hands limit me so much, and my older saw had a safety button requiring pushing before the blade activates from the trigger switch, making it awkward for me….but the Hitachi doesn’t require this so it’s easier to use, plus it’s lighter than my old saw !!! Great Purchase !!

Well-built saw, with convenient features, but nothing gimmicky

Rating: 5 (Value: 5, Durability: 5, )
This is a great saw. It is well balanced and low profile (not top-heavy at all). The grips are very comfortable, and the trigger has a great, solid, smooth, built-to-last feel. The blade guard is extremely smooth; I can’t feel it moving when I enter the wood even if I try.
The foot is 1/16″ thick: plenty strong. The plastic housing is very high quality molded plastic (I think). It actually almost looks like fiberglass, but it’s not. The blade guard is metal, I’m not sure what kind, but it is plenty strong enough. Not that I would recommend it, but this saw feels like it could be dropped a good deal, and not suffer much damage.
Now for the features. It has the externally accessible carbon brushes (the next-best thing to brushless, without the price). The Dust blower really does help a lot with being able to see the line on long cuts. I wasn’t sure about the spindle lock, because I had one break on me once, and then it was a real pain to get the blade off, but I don’t think that this one will break. The bevel adjusters are very nice, large levers that are easy to use, but don’t really get in the way. Get the case with it if you can: it is really well designed, and will protect the saw well. It fits nice and snugly.
All in all, a great saw, with sturdy durability, convenient features, and at a low price.

Good Saw

Rating: 4 (Value: 4, Durability: 5, )
This saw cuts through wood like butter. There’s plenty of power and doesn’t bog down when going through wood at a faster pace. It has no problem keeping up with me. The only issue I have (why I gave it 4 stars) is the saw did not come with the wing nut and spring for a guide rail. I knew the saw didn’t come with the guide rail and I figured I’d purchase an aftermarket one. But there was nothing to secure the rail, so I had to jump through a bunch of hoops and order the proper wing nut and spring from Hitachi. Hitachi needs to include that piece. Otherwise the saw itself is outstanding.

The real thing

This saw is wonderful, strong, light and user friendly. Its a monster compare to others, 15 amps of pure power. Nice case included.
Hitachi are the best tools out there.

This product is very user friendly.

I purchased this product about a month ago. I have done a few home projects – build some work tables like the DIY person that I am and I must say, I like the power, precision, features, maneuverability and user friendly nature of this tool…plus it is very affordable and it looks cool. Just try it!
