Very smooth!
Rating: 5
I had a cordless 20v bandsaw with my old company, very very smooth, simple and easy to change blades, I'm a rough person at work and this tool can take a beating! I personally haven't had any problem with the tool. I would use this daily to cut unistrut, up to 5” steel angles, and threaded rod all different sizes. I can't wait to get my hands on another one since I had to give mine back to my old company! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Best tool for electricians
Rating: 4
I just bought this bandsaw and its great. Its not heavy nor is it too small for bigger pipe. I like the convinience of it with the power it carries [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Hate the dual switches
Rating: 2
I like the way it cuts when it's running, but the control logic of the dual switches is unreliable. You can sequence the switches correctly every time, but 3 out of 10 times the saw wont start and then sometimes it shuts off while I'm cutting, with no change in switches. Normally a big fan of Dewalt, but this time you guys got it wrong.

Nice saw, bad triggers.
Rating: 2
This is my second dewalt 20 volt max bandsaw and I am very disappointed! I have an older dewalt bandsaw and it is incredible! It has 1 trigger and it works great. This new saw has 2 triggers and you have to use them in the right order or the saw won't start, and sometimes the saw just quits and you have to start all over. I can't figure out why dewalt did this, this saw is not for professionals, it's like they made this for high school shop students that have never used a bandsaw before ! I have been using power tools for over 30 years now and this is the first deWalt tool I can't stand to use !

Poor Blade Tracking
Rating: 2
Bought this 16 months ago for commercial use. The saw was used very little and began breaking blades after 6 months. Blades are getting pushed under rollers. Tracking does not work well and the blades break. Very dissapointed in this product.

Great saw for unqualified users!
Rating: 1
I've had the single switch 5" deep cut DeWalt cordless bandsaw for 2 years and use the heck out of it. It's still holding up and I prefer it over the other brands. I was devastated to find out that a second switch was added as well as more weight. I use my bandsaw in so many positions that always having to have two hands on a switch will not work for me. Thanks for making this tool safer for the unqualified users but as a professional I will not be purchasing this new version.

Worst porta band I have ever used.
Rating: 1
Just got it yesterday. It stops in the middle of the cut. Even if it worked correctly it requires two trigger points at the same time. This item is not for the construction industry. I have been using porta bands in construction for over 20 years.

Great value for a small shop!
Rating: 5
Excellent value. While not for production shop work it will be a great addition to any home or light duty use shop. Will cut at 1/2 to 1/4 the speed of a much higher price production saw. Worked well out of the box. Could be improved with a few design changes and needed minor adjustments to work very accurately. Able to make consistent cuts to +-0.002".

Brilliant
Rating: 5
Works brilliantly! Attaching the legs by myself was a bit tricky, but didn't take long at all. First test a 1" diameter 6061 aluminum rod. I used a square to set the built in clamp and it cut through it quite quickly. It did track slightly off vertically, but grinding can fix that. Horizontal cut was spot on. Going to look at adjusting that. Love the auto shut off, have to mount a basket to catch the part while I'm off doing other things.
