Makes the job so much easier!

Great for the price
Rating: 5
Have had this for several years and I must say it's a tough guy. Cutting a LOT of 100 YEAR OLD VERY SEASONED WOOD reclaimed from an old Texas factory it really took it on great. Still runs like a champ. The lazer is only thing that could use improvement, which by now it may have been. I'm quite happy with it and when it goes to happy cutting ground in the sky I will be buying another... so keep it excellent (don't cut corners in mfg!).

Log lasting miter saw
Rating: 5
I bought a Black and Decker miter saw many years ago, I have used it more than I can tell you. I have been building furniture and doing remodeling for many, many years. This miter saw is still running great after all this time. When I bought this saw, there were not many miter saws on the market at that time. The B and D was my best choice.

Great basic saw.
Rating: 5
From researching this saw does not have all the bells and whistles as other saws do. However for the price and performance of this saw you can't go wrong picking this on up. The laser really helps maintain clean cuts, and the saw has plenty of power! Black and Decker is such a overlooked brand and I'd totally recomend it to anyone looking to enter into a power tool line/brand!

Good Saw
Rating: 5
Great saw for the price. Solid saw for the DIY person. I'm not a huge fan of the blade that came with it, but blades are replaceable. Use it until it wears out and pick what you prefer next time.

Cuts every time, but never square
Rating: 3
This is my second saw of this model; the first was returned for the same problem I have with my current one. The blade is not square to the shoe and the shoe is warped. Other than that, every time I pull the trigger the blade spins and the lasers turns on. The build quality is very good; other than the saw being crooked. When following a line or the laser, the saw bogs down because the blade tries to work its way to the right instead of staying true to the cut. It also doesn't cut straight vertically (see photo). I would recommend this saw to someone else if all you need are rough cuts. If you want a saw that can cut straight, this is not a good choice.

Saw has good power
Rating: 5
I have had my DEWALT 60V circular saw for about 4 months now. Now that I use this one I see the lack of power in other brands like Milwaukee. This thing cuts very good. It does not bog down like other cordless saws. Fresh battery and blade and I'm good to go for a long while. I like this saw. I recommend investing in this saw to anyone looking to buy. Power in my hand
Rating: 5
I find myself using this tool more than my corded DeWalt saw. Lots of power, it will last all day on one battery on framing and other tasks. Good weight not too heavy but enough to keep straight while ripping. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Durable and easy to use.
Rating: 5
Had an old Craftsman saw and it was stolen from my garage. I purchased this DeWalt saw to finish the project I had stared and it was so much easier to operate than the old Craftsman. I'm pretty rough on tools and this saw has been dropped (accidentally) and never missed a beat. I like the saws so much I purchased the Mitter saw Mitter table to go with it. I don't believe I'll be using any other brand but DeWalt from now on. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

An amazing tool
Rating: 5
I can't say enough about this tool. I have the older 6.5”, 18 volt saw. I used it for quite a bit over the years. If you planed to building any thing you had to keep 2 - 3 batteries around to do a day's work. I also felt it had no power. You could forget ripping pressure treated wood, it stained the whole length and quickly killed the battery. I recently purchased the 60 volt circular saw. It cuts through pressure treated wood with ease. I built a 16x12 stick by stick. The whole job used only 2 batteries. Simply amazing tool!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Great time saver
Rating: 5
I like the fact that I can go from my drill to saw with just a switch of a battery. I love the fact that it is cordless and fits well with all my other dewalt tools [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Lots of power
Rating: 4
I AM IMPRESSED WITH THE POWER OF THE SAW. IT WEIGHS LESS THEN THE GREEN COMPETITOR MY PARTNER USES. HOWEVER THE ERGONOMICS IS BETTER ON THE GREEN ONE. MY TRIGGER FINGER BINDS ON THE GUARD WHEN USING. BATTERY LIFE IS GOOD NOT GREAT EVEN WITH A FULLY CHARGED FLEXVOLT BATTERY. PROBABLY WOULD HAVE ANY COMPLAINTS EXCEPT I SOMETIMES USE COMPETITOR'S CORDLESS SAW THAT IS SLIGHTLY NICER BUT WEIGHS MORE WITH ITS 2 BATTERIES. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
