Economical, compact, lightweight.
Rating: 5
It is very compact and lightweight. Perfect, especially for small jobs and tight areas where a 2 handed jigsaw won't go!

Good light duty saw
Rating: 5
I bought this for light duty sawing such as cardboard and 1/4 in plywood. Works great for this type of work.

Cordless Jig Saw, hand held like a drill.
Rating: 4
This is definitely a light-duty saw, but perfect for my use. It is advertised as a Reciprocating Saw, but the box calls it a Jig saw. It uses standard jigsaw blades, as per the box. It comes with one small blade and I just cut a branch about 3/4 inches in diameter with no problem. It is hand-held like an electric drill, so it can be used at any angle. It's also light weight and very easy to use. There is a safety mechanism to avoid an accidental trigger pull. The charger is separate and plugs into the base of the handle. The only reason i didn't give it 5 stars is because the face plate around the blade does not allow a branch to be cut flush against the tree trunk as I was hoping for. My carpenter friend suggests that the face plate be placed flat on the cutting surface to avoid broken blades. Heavier duty blades can be purchased at about $2 each. I'm happy with the saw and would recommend it for light use or for crafts.

More than met my high expectations
Rating: 5
Very smooth, excellent speed control, very little vibration. My first attempt with homemade circle cutting jig resulted in derailing the blade from the rear support roller. I hadn't aligned the pivot sufficiently with the blade edge. Adjusted and success on next try, 16 3”radius holes in 3/4” AC plywood for my Paulk work table. Found the JS260 very handy for trimming up my connections between the Skilsaw plunge cuts and the radiused cuts too. I would have appreciated an LED at the blade line but am very happy with the JS260.

Great little saw!
Rating: 5
I bought it specifically to cut a window on a metal building, I had tried with a rotary saw with a metal blade with very poor results. This Jigsaw was amazing I was able to cut 4 windows in record time. Dod not have any problems with the blade load as I had read in other reviews.

great results!

I've used several different palm/hand sanders but none of them can compare to my Bosch sander. It is easy to use, (no vibrations) and sucks up the fine dust keeping my work area clean. I use it to sand surfaces that I've hand planned and it works great.

Purchased with a 10-pack of Bosch blades and a 2-pack of Spyder skeletonized blades a month ago. It's a joy to use with the tool-less blade change, variable speed, and ability to limit the maximum rpm. Cutting 1/4" birch plywood for top caps on kitchen cupboards turned out well. (Taping the cut lines to prevent splintering is a good tip.) I may use it later this winter to cut the frame on a wrecked Honda motorcycle as we build a static display to run the engine.

Great power
Rating: 5
I had an old jigsaw that was probably 40 years old. It finally broke after years of work. It would cut, but I had to give it a push while it labored away slowly. My new Bosch is like a chainsaw by comparison. It is strong and I almost feel like I need to hold it back while it cuts away furiously. I am impressed with its power as well as its quick blade change system. This is a great jigsaw.

best jigsaw ever
Rating: 5
has a heavy and sturdy feel. goes through one-inch oak like a hot knife through butter. makes easy and fast small-radius curves. blade change is a breeze. great value for the money.

I am week end user. This so far has been a great little saw. I have shoulder issues and this saw does everything I need without a lot of weight. Like it a lot.

Quality Tool
Rating: 5
I bought this jigsaw about 1 month ago after a lot of research. I have used it extensively and I am very pleased with the performance. Bosch produces excellent quality tools and so far this saw is no exception.

minor complaints
Rating: 3
only 3 stars for a couple minor complaints. i have medium/large fingers and the blade release is not easy to use. also its a little odd to have the speed control on th bottom of the trigger. wouldve made more sense to have it on the top of the handle. otherwise seems solid and well-built
by speedcrank on 2020-02-25T16:00:00

thought I was buying a quality tool.Wrong.
Rating: 1
very light use and the chuck would not hold blade. cost more to repair than cost of new jigsaw. besides the lousy jigsaw I bought all Bosch cordless tools,[ driver, drill, skill saw mini grinder,] could,nt have made a worse choice.issues with every cordless bosch tool i own.
