Strong saw
Rating: 5
Strong saw. Made 8 cuts through 4x6s like butter. Didn't even make a dent in the 4ah battery.

Plenty of power
Rating: 5
I have great experience with the Bosch 18V drill and driver. So when I need to buy a reciprocating saw, I went with a Bosch that uses the same batteries. My hitch mounted bike rack needs to be cut in order to remove the bolt from the broken insert. With a carbide tipped blade, I was able to cut the 3/8" thick rectangular steel tubing with out any issues. I have used the wood blade and cut branches easily too.

Powerful light and best of all, cordless
Rating: 5
This tool has done two, month long remodel type projects for me since I bought it. My red, corded, supersawzall is busy collecting dust. I sometimes use 2ah batteries when on a scissor lift or ladder and they last well for 80% of my use but I have a couple 6ah for more punishing use. I've put the tool through back to back 6ah batteries with 2ah ones filling in during recharge times and it does anything I ask if it. Both for wood and metal. I've never looked back and would easily buy again. I will probably also buy the new compact 18v as soon as I can find an excuse to do so.

Package Deal
Rating: 5
I bought the Reciprocating saw as a package deal that included 1 charger, 2 batteries, 1 drill, 1 hammer drill and a light. I bought the package just before Hurricane Matthew. I got my money back by extensive use of all the items in the package including the light. I cut and notched over 40 boards with the reciprocating saw and fastened over 80 boards with the two saws and then used the two drills to take the boards down after the hurricane passed. I used the light which is very bright for hours. I did not buy the package deal for the hurricane preparation but was very glad to have it on hand.

Power

I actually now have the GSA18V-083, but previously had the model shown. I enjoy the new configuration and weight better in the new model and appreciate the fact that I didn't have to give up power or battery life in making the change.

Great saw, easy Battery and Blade change.
Rating: 5
I like the fact that my Bosch Drill/Driver batteries interchange with the Recipricating saw. The saw blades are easy and fast to change as well as the batteries. Nice saw, will serve me well.

Wonderful saw
Rating: 5
Well balanced & easy to use reciprocal saw that has plenty of power. I have used it for wood, metal and pruning with no problems. I use the slim batteries which does run low after about 45 minutes of pretty continuous use.

Simplicity
Rating: 5
I have a corded saw, and had a barn to work on with no power. My generator is on the blink, so I purchased this saw. I cut twenty four 2x6 rough cut boards with one battery, so glad my generator was not working . So much easier without all the hassle.

Great Saw
Rating: 5
I just brought this saw to get rid of a backyard pipe canopy that had rusted and not able to get the screws out. I have never used one before but found it easy to work. I purchase extra blades for our next project and everything went in the case with no problems.

My first Milwaukee
Rating: 5
The first job was to tear of the complete roof of a cabin which happened easily, quickly and safely. It cut through old hard beams with nails with minimal vibration. It cuts steel well but goes through blades quickly. The only complaint is the rubber grip keeps coming off.

Excellent saw for the money
Rating: 5
I needed to replace a 12 year old recip saw from another manufacturer that finally died. While there are many recip saws on the market, I had always wanted a REAL Milwaukee Sawzall and this saw fit the bill nicely. I use my recip saw for home remodeling projects, custom car fabrication, and even trimming trees. The 6519-31 is well balanced and light enough to one hand when needed. The 12amp motor provide plenty of unending power for even the toughest jobs like cutting titanium bolts. If there are any negatives about thsi saw the only one I can think of is it's not 100% Made in USA.

Plastic Case
Rating: 4
I am disappointed that the plastic case does not have room to store exta blades. Now it is "run to the truck and get the Sawzall and remember to bring the extra blades." The case is made of plastic, how much would it have cost to make it large enough to hold both the cord and extra blades? The old tin box was great. I wish my new saw would fit into it and I would throw this useless plastic case away.
by To bad the case is useless on 2013-12-26T16:00:00

The plastic case
Rating: 4
My 25 year old Milwaukee quit, need to replace it. Why the plastic case ?? I have enough tools with plastic cases. Why cheapen a saw that is the benchmark of reciprocating saws ??
