M12 Corless Hackzall, Lithium-Ion.
Rating: 5
Nice little hackzall for working in remote areas, and attic or crawl spaces, excellent for plumber o electrical work, and any other uses like tree trimming, or any other stuff that need to be cut, without bundle of extension cords, and LED lights just what every tool need when working in low lighted area or no light at all, I use then as a flashlight and tool, lightweight, compact design, speed, and quality, all in one, and I will definitely recommend this to anyone who need to enjoy working with tools.

Small, light, and easy to use. Would recommend.

I really like how small and light this thing is for jobs around the house. Much easier to grab than my big corded sawzall for small projects. The battery doesn't last long enough for big jobs, but with a spare you shouldn't have a problem. I have used it to cut wood, metal, plastic, and drywall over the past year and a half. It works great on everything so far. I have the soft bag case for it and the 3/8 drill/driver, but wish there were an option for a hard case for storage.

Great for small projects

As an Electrician, I bring this little guy in for service call work or the instances when I need just a few cuts. It offers terrific capability in a super small package. If you've got to cut some drywall, make a few cuts in studs or flooring, or you just need a super small tool then this is your go to recip saw. For major remodels I go to my 18V Fuel saws all. My only critisisms after a year of continual use is the amount of vibration the saw produces while trying to cut conduit and the fact that the batteries are very hard to remove from the tool. I had another trades guy tell me he has the same problem. Overall I love the tool and originally thought it would be just a toy. Definately not a toy. Based on my like for this tool I plan to upgrade to the Fuel version. Nice job Milwaukee.

Don't waste your money.

Use the saw a total of about three hours before motor started cutting in and out and finally it quit all together..thought about getting it repaired until I read the comments about the same problem I had. Decided not to wast the money. I also have the inspection camera that allow me the uses before it quit. Bought another brand and have had no problems. I have most of the other twelve vot Milwaukee tools and have had no problems with them and they get used a lot.

Not durable

Motor burns up very easily under just moderate use. Runs but then quits working under load. This has happened twice in 4 years. Very disappointed in this Milwaukee tool. Did not expect Black & Decker performance and quality from a Milwaukee tool. Have the other M12 tools and never a problem, love them. Save your money on the Hacksaw - its not a good quality tool

Junk

The recip saw would be perfect if the motor did not burn up. Sent in the saw for repairs, and it cost almost as much as a new complete kit with case and battery's. The repaired saw has already burnt up within 4 weeks of being rebuilt. If you dont need to use it as a recip saw its great. You might be able to use it as a hammer. the 1/4' impact driver, angle drill, multi tool, 3/8" drill, 1/4" screw gun, Radio, Jig saw and 3/8" driver are good tools to buy. Dont buy the jacket either, it wont last long.
