Great table for a small shop
Rating: 5
I purchased this saw for two reasons; I really like the quality of my other Bosch tools and I wanted a soft start motor. What I wasn't expecting is the very thoughtful engineering that Bosch put into this saw. The table is large to accommodate larger cuts, the blade accuracy was spot on right out of the box, and the gravity rise stand is fantastic. Bosch made a storage space for the blade guard, pawl, miter gauge and push stick all of which actually work even when folding up the table for storage. I have cut Purple Heart, padauk and hard maple without any evidenced strain on the motor. The dust collection is 2-1/2" and works surprisingly well for a table saw. The fence was also accurate out of the box, square with the blade and it is very substantial compared to others I have used. I am very happy with this saw and love that it folds up without breaking my back into a small footprint. I would recommend this saw and would buy it again.

Great for its intended purpose
Rating: 5
I bought this due to downsizing to replace my 20 year old Delta Unisaw. So far I've only used it on sheet material but for that it was good. No where near the cutting power of the old unisaw but I think it will be just what I need for 90% of my needs. Probably not the best for long 2x rips but it should get the job done. I really like the stand and portability.

Convenient and powerful saw!!
Rating: 5
Love the portability, fairly priced, this is our 2nd saw and the first is still working great as well!! The new model has tires that do NOT require air, much better as the air filled tires leaked constantly, but it truly is a great asset to the tool trailer! Thanks

Simply the Best
Rating: 5
The Bosch 4100-09 10-inch Worksite Saw and Gravity-Rise Stand is a perfect match. The Gravity-Rise Stand itself is an engineering marvel and best power tool stand on the market without exception. Why?, because it's simple. The beefy 1½" tubing will support any power tool you would like to make portable; table saw, planer, etc. With a quarter turn of the locking handle, it goes from storage position to working position in two seconds; no other legs or locking mechanism to fuss with. The name says it all, as the weight of the saw allows the stand to open and close smoothly. In open position, the table sits at a comfortable 37 inches high. The table saw has all features for a jobsite saw. Onboard storage for extra blades, the blade guard, fence, miter gauge, powercord, pushstick, and wrench. The tool-less blade guard, anti-kickbacks, and throat plate can all be quickly removed and installed. The riving knife is adjustable and can be secured in multiple positions, and only one wrench is needed to change blades, due to the integrated spindle lock. The underside of the table also comes predrilled and tapped for some accessories such as the outfeed support kit and left-side extension support kit, both sold separately.

Big performance, Small footprint
Rating: 5
I'm am intermediate woodworker who enjoyed a cabinet saw for many years, but have moved and needed to downsize my shop. I tried to get away with not have a table saw, but I really missed the many operations one provides. Reviews pushed me to the 4100 and I am glad they did. I have been using the saw for the past three months. The saw was dead on accurate right out of the box. The miter gauge and rip fence lock securely and accurately. I up-graded the blade and use care to not push stock too fast through the cut. My last few projects were in walnut and the cuts are smooth and burn free. I have even resawed 1x4 walnut down to 3/16's (using great care, multiple feather boards and two passes) with very good results. I haven't put a dado blade on it yet. The folding stand works great in my small shop. Pushing sheet goods or long stock might reduce the stand's stability, but for medium and short stock it is solid. Dust collection is about 80% effective and it is loud. Small price to pay for accuracy and portability. Speaking of price it is probably the highest price saw in its class, but you definitely get what you pay for. If space or portability is important to you AND precision; this is the saw to get.

Excellent product

I had a table saw for 30 years and it worked fine until lately the pulley kept falling off. I got tired fixing it so I went shopping for a new one and after reading many reviews, I decided on getting the Bosch and I'm glad I did my homework. This is an excellent saw that will last another 30 years (although I probably won't...lol). It makes very accurate cuts and had lots of power. I ran 5/8 in OSB through it as fast and I wanted to push and it didn't even slow down!! My old one would have been choking at half the speed. I also love that all the accessories, blades, push stick etc. has a place to be stored right on the saw so they are always handy when needed. Also the stand is very easy to use once you get used to it. I highly recommend this saw. The only thing I didn't like is that a bit of dust escapes even though I had it connected to my shop vac.

Extremely pleased with this purchase and Walmart
Rating: 5
Pleasantly surprised that Walmart sold this item ON LINE and would ship it to my nearby Walmart store for pickup. Walmart also had the BEST PRICE !!! (well maybe $20 more but that was due to paying taxes). This Bosch saw is reviewed at many other sites with HIGH ratings. There is no reason to elaborate except to say I don't think a person can do better with another brand for the price paid. Did NOT purchase the ELECTRONIC fence. Personally believe it's not necessary for most work required for my chicken coops. The INCLUDED FOLDING stand is outstanding and another reason for my BOSCH purchase. The low price of the stand/saw bundle convinced me it was a good value . Happy, Happy, Happy,, the stand is an outstanding work of engineering and well worth the extra money. I can fold it and roll it to the work or storage area by myself,, with ease or move it around. Well worth it,, believe me. View videos on YouTube to see how it works. Included link with this review. When the saw was ready to pick up Walmart sent me email claim form. Had the ELECTRONIC email on my tablet at the store and Walmart scanned the electronic image w/o a problem. This saved me messing with the printer/ink/paper. PS: Open the email page at the house and the page is ready to view at the store, doubt they has public WIFI,, although maybe they should? The Bosch w/ stand is in a BIG box and the weight was about 110+ pounds which requires a van/truck/suv,, Box size is 40” x 30” x 21”. When you unpack think about the engineering and design JUST for the packing !! Drove around back to a man door and three employees brought the saw on a dolly to the back of my truck and helped me load. Thanks !! TICKLED TO DEATH because is NOT necessary to WAIT AROUND MY HOUSE for the delivery service. Should damage be noticeable on the outside of the box it could be opened at the store and inspected before loading it in the truck. Imagine the HASSLE should a HOME delivery service damage the item !!!! or worse yet if it was damaged when the box was opened,, or was defective in the first fews days of use,, or ??? Ship back,, Return authorizations,, wait and aggravations .. REALLY,, think about all the things that could go wrong and Walmart at a nearby store would be there to help me out. Will repackage this saw and ship it overseas now the functionality is verified. The box it comes in was very sturdy (heavy cardboard / styrofoam) and be suitable for rough handling in the U.S. However IMHO: It's not good enough for overseas shipping. Should something be damaged. Repackaged the saw / stand in two separate, slightly smaller packages.

a must have piece of equipment
Rating: 5
I bought this and I feel so sure of myself in its use and the safety features it offers. then the ability to move it around my small area of workspace provides such freedom that I am able to do more, with such ease of use. I was afraid of the use of power tools....not with this machine.

After purchase I set saw up in my shop and found no need for adjustments. very easy to follow instructions , well done . I have enjoyed using this saw.

Love this saw, needs angle adjustment screw
Rating: 4
This saw was "Dead On" accurate. I made an entertainment center with it. Plenty of power. Crosscut and Ripped Pine, Oak, and Plywood with no problem. The only thing is that the blade angle could use a screw adjustment for more accuracy with angles. I needed to cut a 5.7 degree rabbet in oak for a truck bed plank.

Great mobile saw at a good price
Rating: 5
I have owned several table saws. Each one of them were very good but the design of this saw is the best. It is a pleasure to use. I recommend this saw for the DIY and the work worker who needs a mobile, well built and just the right size table saw.

Great Table Saw!
Rating: 5
I'm just a DIY guy and for me this saw was perfect. I've used this saw a few times and have cut various sizes of lumber to put it through the test. Let me tell you it's a work horse! Lot's of great features, ease of operation make this saw a no brainer for me.

Great so far!
Rating: 5
First table saw ever owned and very happy and proud I went with Skilsaw! Works great, easy set up, almost accurate out of the box, and great mobility! Soft far so good working with this saw. Cuts hardwoods, softwoods, and ply like butter! Would recommend this jobsite saw for anybody. Beginner or expert!

Bomber!
Rating: 5
After initial adjustments (which I expect to do on any table saw purchase), I ran a couple boards through to gage the quality of the cut - I was very pleased. I have since made a zero-clearance throat plate and then used the saw to cut parts for several cabinets. With the SPT00B extension I was easily able to support the material. The fence system on the rack-and-pinion adjustment is excellent. I always check square with a Woodpecker square before making cuts that need to be perfectly accurate and so far the fence has not needed any adjustment. The locking mechanism for the fence is far superior to the other brands I've used (black-and-yellow, red-and-black, blue, and green). The wheels on the stand also make moving the saw incredible easy over uneven terrain.

Great
Rating: 5
Just started using it, but it's great so far. The oversized wheels make it easy to move it anywhere easily. My last stand had small wheels and gravel was a pain, no problem with this. Fence adjustment is a dream.

Cuts like butter
Rating: 5
I had an old Craftsman contractor saw that was on its last legs 10 years ago. I decided I would replace it with the smaller but highly recommend Skilsaw as I really didn't need the bulky frame of the old saw any longer. The Skilsaw 10" is a bit smaller but way more versatile, and it cuts like butter through everything I've put through bit so far. The power is consistent and the accuracy is good enough for my work, in fact better than anything I'm used to with the old saw being in need of constant adjustments to get a decent cut. I hope to get many years of use out of this saw and it will do me into retirement for the various projects I have planned.

So far so good
Rating: 5
Only minor adjustments needed out of the box. So far so good no issues as of yet. Only minor complaint is the plastic throat plate (should be metal) and the flimsy miter guage that comes with the saw. Not really an issue since all miter guages that comes with any saw is not the greatest anyway. The stand is awesome, huge wheels and pretty solid when setup.

Gets the job done!
Rating: 4
I don't give a five star rating to anything but this saw and table combination came close! Assembly was easy (do be sure to upload assembly instructions on to a computer or other device as it is much easier to read). The fold up cart is a breeze to use and saves me pace in my smaller shop. Absolutely love the storage spots for accessories built into the table and the fence is GREAT! I have experienced absolutely no lag in this motor and gear drive even while cutting 2" red oak. I do wish that there was a material support that could be pulled out from the back of the table and as I have yet to cut any paneling to make any judgement on how the cart/support will work for that. Overall I love it and would highly recommend it.

Not the "SKILL" saw quality I remember.
Rating: 3
Seems accurate so far, and very convenient. BUT, there are a lot of flimsy plastic parts that will not stand up to rough use, especially the latches for the fence. They are very flimsy, I can't figure why a company with this reputation would cheap out like this?

Problems with this product
Rating: 2
So far I am disappointed. After following directions and getting this saw together the first pull on the plastic locking gate handle resulted in the plastic handle breaking in half. It must have been already cracked. The bottom line is this piece should at least be reinforced with metal. Rather than get another plastic one I fixed it myself with metal. I was also disappointed Ted in the miter. All numbers are black and largely unreadable. I will have to upgrade this piece. The protective pieces on the saw are all flimsy. The reason I bought this saw over others is the worm drive. Cuts I have made so far have been good. The basic function of the saw seems good. I have been able to get square adjusted. The table is reasonably level. I'm just disappointed on how poor some of the finish items to this saw are for the price.
