It's very durable, I have dropped it several times from the saw horses and it still cuts true. There is plenty of power, cuts bevels with no problem. The built in rafter hook is nice when you need it. It's heavier than the 20v saw but I think the weight and size of this saw help make the cutting easier. I have both saws, but I usually leave the 20v in the shop and take this every day. The only down side is the battery can be difficult to remove sometimes.
