This is a great name-brand circular saw for an excellent price. The price includes the blade for this SKIL saw. Some of the other brands do not include the blade - yes, really. It is easy to handle and work with - working on my back deck. I would recommend it.

Great saw and great price! Out of the box worked like a gem, attach the blade and go. Laser was a good feature. Would recommend Skil everytime for circular saws

Design features

The new design takes left handed crafts persons into consideration. The laser feature is great and the notches in the front of the shoe keeps the saw on the line for us that had problems with that in the past. The shaft lock make it very easy to remove and replace the blade.

I bought this saw mainly because I was in a pinch and my old battery-powered saw burned out on me. But this thing is impressive! I've worked with the older 15amp and this new smaller model is way more powerful! For a DIYer like me or a handyman type guy its a perfect saw. Plus a 5 year warranty. Highly recommend.

Excellent buy on this saw. Only thing I had to do out of the box was attach the saw blade. It cut beautifully right out of the box. No real set-up required. I recommend this to anyone needing a good circular saw.

Completed my project without any fuss. Can't say for longevity as of yet, but so far I am thoroughly impressed with the Skil brand Circ saw. Great features you aren't likely to find on a saw in this price range.Perfect for a weekend Diy'er.

Great saw at a great price. I am using this saw mainly with my Kreg Rip-Cut and Accu-Cut jigs and it makes breaking down plywood panels fast and easy.

Excellent saw at a good price

So far I am very satisfied with the saw. It is powerful enough to handle any job but light enough to be easily maneuvered. I haven't used the laser much but it's nice to know it's there if I need it. I like the trigger safety switch. If the saw included a blade break, I would have given 5 stars. Included blade cuts well.

Nice saw, balance good, no dust collection adaption on saw and laser is 1/16 inch off line out of box. Bought to replace 25 year old Skil (still works), mainly bought for laser.

Replacement saw

Great saw. Been using SKIL for a while now and needed to replace an older circ saw from another brand and this one fit the bill. My only concern was that it didn.t come with a lefty option but hey not many do!
