Cutting a LOT of 100 YEAR OLD VERY SEASONED WOOD reclaimed from an old Texas factory it really took it on great. Still runs like a champ. The lazer is only thing that could use improvement, which by now it may have been. The blade is not square to the shoe and the shoe is warped. Other than that, every time I pull the trigger the blade spins and the lasers turns on. The build quality is very good; other than the saw being crooked. When following a line or the laser, the saw bogs down because the blade tries to work its way to the right instead of staying true to the cut. It also doesn't cut straight vertically (see photo). I would recommend this saw to someone else if all you need are rough cuts.
